![]() I also tried the toggle switch on the card, but no joy with this either. I'm now stuck as to what to do? I tried using Device Manager to search for updated drivers, and then pointed the wizard at the extracted Crimson drivers, but this blue-screened too. At some point the Crimson 17.4.4 drivers came out which I tried installing, but again a blue-screen. Exactly the same thing happened with another blue-screen. I restored the system again, and tried with some older drivers (15.6.1 I think, whatever is on the MSI site for that card). and tried again but this time the PC blue-screened when installing the Crimson drivers. It appeared to go into stand-by during boot-up, shortly after the Windows logo appeared. I rebooted but Windows would not get as far as the logon screen. Lastly, I tried to install the Afterburner app but during the installation process my PC blue screened, with the error "Thread stuck in device driver". I then installed Live Update and the Gaming App. So, I installed the Crimson 17.4.3 drivers. Windows (10 64-bit Creator Edition) was now using the Microsoft Basic Display Driver, so I created another system restore point. I installed the 270X, and booted up okay. ![]() I had been using a Radeon HD5700, which I uninstalled all software and drivers for before shutting down. ![]() Help! I bought an MSI Radeon R9 270X 2G Gaming graphics card but I can't get the drivers to install. ![]()
